This is a vintage Japanese hand-shaped pottery tea bowl of Kyo Ware made by the 1st class potter, Koichi Niwa (born 1925) , who exhibited at the Nitten Exhibition several times circa 1975
The bowl is hand painted with ocean spray and birds against a grey glaze, and bears the potters seal to the base
