We use a fine black tea from Anhui Province in China which is carefully flavoured using Vanilla Pieces and Vanilla oil to produce a delightful sweet and soothing tea. Our Vainilla Black goes perfectly with cake and rich desserts, or just on it’s own.
From ordering online to having the tea delivered by Chris was excellent service. The tea was delicious and would definitely use Bohea Teas again.
Ok, so i'm not really one for fancy tea (the most adventurous i used to be was buying the more expensive Yorkshire Gold tea!) after deciding to move away from my 10 cups a day of milky sugary tea, i decided to purchase this little number, and i must say, that this tea has completely blown me away! Almost immediately on opening the package i knew i was in for a treat, the aroma that came up out of the pack was like a hot baked cake, with warm, fruity, almost spicy undertones- and i'm not one for exaggerating! Then, once you make it (a little goes a long way by the way), infusing it with the hot water, it releases even more aroma, and then the taste is just incredible! It has that rich flavour a black tea has, but with a smooth and creaminess of luscious vanilla, it's definitely a tea for those who really love their tea! I would say that this tea is for beginners who want to try something new while not going too adventurous, or for those already special tea lovers who want something a little special...i think i will use this tea on my next tea party guests and surprise them with the unusual! (plus i think this will go perfect with a Victoria Sponge!) i cannot recommend this tea enough, and you get a huge bag for a very small price - i think i will certainly be putting in an order for a few more....
This is a lovely tea I enjoy particularly in the evenings. It has a great colour and a sweet, honey flavour with a vanilla aftertaste.
